San Francisco

We had a wonderful trip to San Francisco! Maddie saw the Pacific Ocean for the first time, we met up with a bunch of old friends, and walked up and down a lot of hills.

It started with our flight to SF. Maddie did a great job. She was awake a lot more and needed a lot more entertainment, but she did really well. She learned how to take down the tray and how to move the arm rest up and down.

Maddie decided she should put everything she could find in her mouth. She put her toy and a napkin in all at once ...

... and then pretended to drink from daddy's cup.

The most exciting thing happened on the second leg of our trip ... Maddie got to go into the cockpit!!! We had a family photo taken in there ... although they are not the best photos ever, they are really fun and exciting!

Maddie then got settled in at the hotel.

We then went down to the marina to have a look at the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the Pacific Ocean. It was a lot colder than I thought it would be. Maddie thought the seagulls were very interesting.

We met up with Aunty Meesha and heard some great news ... she is going to be a mommy! Yeah! Congratulations Meesha and Tim!! We can't wait to meet the little one! We climbed up some major hills with Meesh and Tim and got a good workout!

The next day, we went shopping. Mommy was in heaven! Look at where we went:

Prada
Burberry

where she got a sticker!
Daddy found an interesting coat at H&M ... too bad it was too small.
... and finally to baby Gap. Isn't this hat so cute?!!!!
Then we went to

Chinatown with Leila.

and we saw a lot of trolleys!

Then we wandered up another big hill and met up with Ting, Howard and Tome. Tome is SO big!!!

Maddie did some dancing (she loves to stand up).

Then we wnt out for dinner with Matt, Erin, Ting, Howard, Tome, and Leila. Maddie slept through most of our delicious dinner. Yeah! We ate with both hands!

The next morning, we were sad to leave daddy, but were picked up in style.

We flew home over the rockies,

and met grandma at the airport.
