Life As We Know It

We have settled in around here and we are loving life with our two beautiful girls.  Here are a bunch of pictures and videos of the sweetness that happens every day around here.

Here is Miss Evelyn in her car seat.  Again - binki is there more for show than anything else.

After a bath one night, I noticed that Evelyn's hair looked a little like Maddie's used to.  There is one part in the middle that always sticks up.  I call it her flame - her hair is looking pretty red most days. 

Evelyn has been looking for her thumb to suck ... she found daddy's instead and was quite happy.

Maddie just loves being a big sister and Evie loves Maddie.  Here they are one morning watching a little My Little Pony on the iPad.

Evelyn prefers to sit or stand.  She is NOT a baby and will not stand to be treated as such.  She loves her bumbo.

Daddy's girls.  This happened spontaneously.  Maddie was just giving us a hug.  It was too cute.

Maddie wanted to try out a couple of classes at our community center.  We decided to try ballet and tumbling.  Here is our beautiful girl in ballet. 

In the end she chose tumbling.  I don't have any picture or video to post because they have other peoples' children in them.

Amy and Manish bought Evelyn a book for xmas and she just LOVES it!  If she is fussing, you just give her her book and she calms down right away.  She will look at it for 30 minutes with no problem.  Maybe she will be a bookworm like her Aunty Amy.

Nana celebrated her birthday with us here in St. Louis.  Maddie and Nana made party hats for the occasion.

I found this one day.  Maddie said she smelled like Peter Piler.  I have no idea what that means.

PopPop picked Maddie up from school one day with the plans of going to Crown Candy ... but Maddie insisted on going to DQ.  She went there with ZsaZsa and with Nana ... so she figured she needed to take PopPop too.

We have presidential babies.  Both girls went to vote with me and both girls watched the inauguration with me.

Evelyn LOVES her bath time.  She just kicks and laughs and will stay in the bath forever.  It is so funny to watch (I'll get a video one of these days).  Here she is in her bath towel after a fun bath.

Evelyn is getting very good at tummy time.  She will be crawling any day now, I fear.
