The next day Sam and Travis picked Maddie up for a fun cousin day at the zoo. How awesome are they?! Maddie even got her face painted. Her cousins are pretty cool.
Sam and Travis played for a little while building castles and giving Evelyn lots of loves.
Daddy was later put on hair duty for the ponies. He is very good at braiding.
Evelyn got a hold of Yoda's light saber. She looks pretty serious about it.
The next morning was Saturday. We had to get all our cookies ready for Easter. We got started we the pretty detailed painting.
We had so many cookies! We decided to bring them over to Donna's with us. We knew she would be great at decorating!
Aren't they beautiful?!
The next morning, the Easter bunny visited with a basket for each girl with matching big and small purple bunnies.
We all put on our ears and hung around looking for Easter eggs.
Then it was time to dye eggs. Maddie had a lot of fun with the sparkle kit we had.
That afternoon we headed over to visit Great Grandma Hamilton (and Tim, Debbie, Sam, Travis, and Mallory). Maddie had a wonderful time visiting with everyone! The Easter Bunny even left her a basket at Aunt Debbie's house! Pretty special!
Evelyn slept through most of the visit
Eventually she woke up and showed off her super cute outfit
The Hamiltons
My sweet girls
Evelyn is going to be a serious reader when she grows up. The book Amy got her for Xmas is one of her favorite toys. Any time she fusses, we just give her the book and she is happy as a clam!
We went for an ear infection check up. All is well ... but Evelyn loved playing with the paper.
Just Maddie ... hamming it up.
Daddy is a very comfortable chair.
Daddy also has some serious toe nail painting skills. Bet you never thought you would see this!
I will miss the fact that opening day is a holiday here. Everyone dresses up in their Cardinals wear and talks about the score throughout the day. This is a pretty awesome town. We will miss you Cardinal Nation!
