Natalie sent me a few more photos and then I found a few more that I missed (if you can believe it!).
Evelyn loved playing with the washing line pegs. Every time I put the washing out I spent most of my time chasing Evelyn and the peg basket.
Maddie spent pretty much every second possible outside working on something. She washed shells, watered the garden, played games, climbed trees ... and watched basically zero TV or iPad. This is the way it should be! Here she is - I told her to get dressed so she threw on pants and sandals with her nightgown. :)
Swimming at Janny's. I love the smile!
Pretty much any time Evelyn saw water she would either scream until someone took her there or simply take off running towards it. She loved the swimming pool.
I kept dipping her feet in and lifting her back up. She thought it was hysterical.
Isn't the outfit so cute?! It was a gift from her Nana from a trip to Hawaii. Her chubby little thighs kept eating her shorts which made it even cuter!
On the playground
Nana Mae and Evelyn Mae
Another ice cream photo! This was our last full day at Waiheke and the Mr. Whippy truck showed up ... how could we NOT go get an ice cream?! Margy bought Maddie this sugar covered sugar! It is called a creepy crawly - ice cream covered in sprinkles with gummy worms stuffed in it and then because she was so cute a HUGE gummy bear on top (it is what is in her mouth in this photo). Thank you Aunty Margy!
