Maddy has started back at swimming lessons. She is doing so well!!!
We are going to Hawaii in May. It is January. So ... we have months of "when are we going to Hawaii" ahead of us.
Still loves Frozen.
Maddy asked me if we were Ducks (Oregon) or Beavers (Oregon State). I told her we were neither because Mommy is a longhorn and Daddy is a tiger. I asked her which one she wanted to be. She decided on Duck. Well ... her team made it to the finals! So a Longhorn plus a Tiger = a Duck I guess!

Evelyn will not nap at school. Worse than that, she takes it out on the children who do sleep. We have started bribing her to simply not scream and not throw things and not run around the room. You know ... basics, really. She loves her aya pops! Thank you Katie for finding these little tiny tootsie pops! They are the perfect size!
The best story I got from school about non napping was that she threw a block at a sleeping child. When they moved the blocks away from her, she removed her shoe and threw it at another sleeping child. She is nothing if not resourceful, I suppose. Daddy was super proud.
Maddy was star of the week! She got to share a paper all about her and add pictures of her family. <3 br="">
Because sometimes you need a skirt and a dress.
