Christmas Extravaganza (Part 4)!!!

The next day, we all headed down the road to Warrenton to see Great Grandpa Mitchell, Donna and Aunt Megan (and Moose!). Donna and Megan could not wait to watch Maddie open her gifts! She was ready for them, though, and she tore through that paper like the pro that she is! (We are a little worried that she is going to start tearing through out books now!)

Maddie got some BEAUTIFUL new outfits and a great float for New Zealand. It has a little shade over the top for swimming in the ocean. I am sure we will have lots of photos of her in it!

Donna and Megan loved all over Maddie, of course! They oohed and awwed and tried to teach her to walk (once she can walk, she can spend the night, daddy said). They cheered on her crawling and made her feel very special!

Maddie looked at Moose. She could not believe there was a dog bigger than her dog!

It was cold that day, so Maddie had on her cute new hat. She also had on her "Is it too late to be GOOD" shirt. Donna let her know that it is never too late to be good ... or bad! I think that Maddie will get lots of love and lots of gifts every Christmas no matter how she has been! Who needs Santa when you have grandma's?!

Maddie taste tested Megan's cell phone ... and it passed the test.

After a delicious lunch, we went to visit Maddie's Great Great Grandma Mitchell. Here is a photo with FIVE GENERATIONS of Mitchells! Isn't this amazing!

Here are all the girls.

I love this photo.

That night we went home with Grandma Ankle and opened up the last of our gifts. Grandma went WAY overboard!!

Maddie got a "Darth Tater," lots of clothes, and a walker! It took her a couple of minutes to realize that she could move in it, but once she figured it out, there was no stopping her! Watch out Magnus and Little Man.

Maddie's first Christmas was wonderful. She is so lucky to have so many people that love her so much. Thank you to everyone for all the gifts. Everyone went a little crazy, but we understand why. She is pretty cute!! We wish we could have spent a little more time with everyone. You'll have to come back up and visit soon!
