Christmas Extravaganza (Part 1)!!!

Well, Maddie's first Christmas was more over the top than we thought it would be. She is now a professional at opening presents and is still playing with her wrapping paper.

Our story begins in Houston. Maddie took her 11th flight down to Houston where she spent a week being loved on.


Teddy built her a VERY complicated new toy, her exersaucer. She had a lot of fun being overly stimulated in her very exciting toy!




I found a cute present at Pottery Barn.


Maddie helped us wrap presents. She played the important role of taste testing all the paper and most of the presents.





Maddie then proceded to taste test a few of Teddy's things. The steering wheel of the Porsche and his keyboard at the office. They all passed her test, thankfully.


Maddie then worked on important things at Teddy's office. She will be CEO of her own company soon enough, we're sure!



Maddie showed Daddy how to play the piano ...

and then brushed her new tooth.



We had a Christmas Eve dinner together, and wore our new paper crowns.


That night, Maddie opened her first of MANY Christmas gifts. This was a gift from her Aunty Amy.



Maddie did not sleep very well on Christmas Eve. She knew Santa was on his way, I guess! We woke up early and went downstairs and opened the rest of our presents. With each gift, Maddie got better and better.





Maddie opened a lot of gifts and got so many things that we could not fit them all! Just look at it all!






That night we flew home to cold St. Louis for part 2 of our Christmas extravaganza!!
