Trip to the Zoo!

On Saint Patrick's day, Maddie and I ... and most of St. Louis! went to the zoo. This was our first trip and it was more mommy's day out with my friend Stephanie (and her daughter Brynn who is 9 days older than Maddie). It was a BEAUTIFUL spring day and we had a great time. All the animals were out (probably for the same reason all the people were out ... SPRING IS ON ITS WAY!!).

Maddie woke up for her nap just as we arrived. Doesn't she look happy?!



They saw the rhinos ... Maddie really did look at it. She looked confused!


Then she saw the baby elephant! It was so cute!!!

We had a great day and will be back soon. There are so many wonderful animals at the St. Louis Zoo.
