Another Full Day!

Maddie had another busy day today!

It all started by finding a new fun place in the house ... the pot cabinet! Maddie strolled over (because the gate was down) and started making a lot of noise!


Here is a REALLY long video of her playing with the pots. It is not the best quality because I am trying to prevent her from dropping the thing on her toes! Again, this is very long and just kind of silly.



Maddie and I then went to our first Gymboree class in TWO MONTHS!! It had been so long that I got the time wrong! I showed up at noon, but class did not start until 1! We just stayed and went to the music class from 12 - 12:45. Maddie loved it! She played the maracas (she loves to "shake it, shake it, shake it") and was a very good helper when it came time to putting them away.



She then palmed two beach balls! Impressive!

She then played the drums with Felix.Then they found the trunk that had nothing to do with music class, but was fun to climb on.
Maddie chilled there for a little while. She just loves sitting on steps now.

THEN ...
We went to another hour-long Gymboree class (our regular play group)!! Maddie did a great job. By then she was in the swing of things and was running around like a crazy baby! She, once again, grabbed tow play balls (I am really impressed!),
... and tried to catch some bubbles.
We were very sad to hear that it was Miss Jessica's last day. :( She has been our teacher since our first class. Good luck Miss Jessica!

Later that afternoon (seriously, our day is not even close to being over!!), we met up with Daddy in Forest Park for a walk. We decided to get dinner in the Park at the Boat House. They are a dog friendly place. Magnus did an excellent job!! They brought him ice water (and kept refilling his bowl, the way they would your glass!) and doggie treats! He even had some of Maddie's dinner. The only mishap was when he stepped a little too far back and his back legs fell in the lake! He flipped out and was saved by Daddy. He was very shaken up and stayed away from the edge for the rest of our dinner. Poor Mag.

Maddie had a great time watching the ducks. Daddy fed them some bread and was amazed at how fast the fish were!
