Here is a before shot - before we added mulch and plants. I need to find a REAL before shot ... when it was still full of weeds. It looked so bad. This is a photo after I cleared everything ... it took almost 2 hours!!

This is how much mulch we still have ... hmmm ... now what? I think I might fix up the side garden ... maybe plant some veggies. That's right ... veggies! I have decided that I am a gardener. Sure ... why not?!
Here are some final shots. It looks so much better. In the next few years, it will grow in nicely and should be fun to play in. Next spring, I will get Maddie some gardening tools and she can help me.

That looks great. How did you figure out what to plant? We are starting to think about this for Folts. We want to plant native stuff that does not require a lot of water.
