Maddie and Mag

We try and keep Maddie blocked from the back room for one main reason ... she LOVES to play in Magnus' food. She is obsessed with it, in fact! If we put her down and the gates are not up, she makes a run for it ... and I do mean RUN. She is often faster than we are (sadly). She has discovered that his bowls hide a secret space filled with cans and dog treats. This morning, she pulled out the treats and gave Mag a couple. Here is a funny video of part of it. I would like to point out what a good dog Magnus is. He sits down to wait for his treat, does not have a problem when she takes the treat away from him and is very gentle when taking the food from her. We are very lucky to have such good animals. Most dogs and cats would not put up with her antics.
