I have other posts I need get on the blog, I know, but I wanted to get these beautiful pictures up today before I forgot. Maddie and I are on Spring Break and have had incredible weather! It has been in the 70's and 80's and SUNNY every day so far. We have been outside pretty much all day every day.
Today we went to the Botanical Gardens, one of my most favorite spots in St. Louis. It really is incredible. It seems like each year around Spring Break, we go to the Botanical Gardens (last two years we actually went to Dallas' Botanical Gardens) and take pictures of our beautiful girl. Here are some highlights from the past:
March 2010: Almost 2 (she looks like such a baby still!)

Daddy's favorite ... on the tractor in her pretty dress.

March 2011: Almost 3 (much more grown up)

March 2012: Almost 4 (a total grown up girl ... where did our baby go?!)
We start out very cooperative and happy to have our picture taken ...

I think this one might be my favorite picture ... so sweet.

These pictures are getting a little old ...

Maddie LOVES statues. A little while ago, we went to the Art Museum. There were lots of statues in the exhibit and so we talked a little about them (I think they were actually Degas ballerinas so she loved them - they are my favorite too!). After we finished walking around, they had a little area for children to make art. They could color a pop art picture or make a statue with this amazing clay from Crayola. Maddie remembers this and talks about it a lot. Every time we see a statue, we talk about it. I looked up at one point and found her like this ... seriously. Our little art lover.

We found the koi in the koi pond at the Japanese garden. Maddie loved them!

OK ... we are done with pictures ... she is having no more of this, mommy.

It was a beautiful day with my beautiful girl.
