Soaked to the bone!
After a bunch of play time, we went to get a popsicle. Maddie chose a watermelon water flavor - and was not all that pleased with it.
Daddy went to Las Vegas for a bachelor party so Maddie and I had a girls weekend. We got pizza, popcorn and bubble drinks (Sprite) and rented a movie. We ate upstairs and had a wonderful girlie night.
The next day, we went back to the farmer's market (armed with a bathing suit this time). She had a great time playing in the pool area too.
At school they had to make a picture of their favorite things. Maddie made a picture of her new BFF Madison.
And Madison made a picture of Maddie. How sweet is that?!
We got a little bit of the hurricane up here and had a rainy, rainy weekend. Daddy decided it was time to teach Maddie the love of video games. They started to play a race car game and she loved it! Daddy loved that he now has a video game partner! The rain was not actually that bad and we were able to get out to the Greek Festival down in the Central West End. Maddie loved eating Pastitsio and tiropita. I taught her a few Greek words ... and her accent is pretty good!
After that, we decided to go an play at Maddie's favorite place. They have a moonwalk, a jungle gym and video games. Now that she likes video games, it was time to try out the big ones! Here they are on a snowmobile game.
More practice at home.
Maddie has been cooking dinner a lot lately. This meal was made by her. Homemade chicken strips (she loved doing the egg wash!) and brussel sprouts. She is a wonderful cook!
