For Thanksgiving, we had a quiet little family lunch at home. It was wonderful and we were so thankful for everything we have. It was nice to talk with Maddie about what we are thankful for and she had some beautiful ideas.
We went over to Tim and Debbie's house so that Sam could meet her new cousin. It was love at first sight ... on both sides!
We also got to see Grandma Hamilton - one of Evelyn's namesakes (Evelyn Mae - the Mae comes from grandmas on both sides named Mavis).
Uncle Anson and Auntie Urvi brought sweet Carina over for a visit. You forget how fast they grow! I can't believe the difference in size and they are only 2 months apart. Amazing! I love this picture of the daddies and their beautiful girls.
Evelyn has started tummy-time. She is VERY good at holding her head up ... but is not a huge fan of tummy time. It takes a lot out of a baby. It is a real work out!
I had promised to take Maddie to go get ice cream. One day after school, she decided today was the day. I told her that it was a little cold for ice cream and I was told that it is never too cold for ice cream. On top of that she also said that ice cream is better when it is cold because it doesn't melt. That kind of logic earned her an ice cream.
Just a couple hanging out pictures.
Zsa Zsa bought Evie a zebra striped footed onsie. When I went back to do some more shopping, I found one in Maddie's size. Well ... I couldn't resist. How cute are these sisters?!
Getting Maddie to school in the mornings is probably the hardest part of having two kids right now. Maddie is such a wonderful helper, though. She will give Evelyn a bottle for me while I get ready. I found her singing to her one day as she fed her. She is such a wonderful, and incredibly sweet, big sister.
