Congratulations Nick! After 8 years of hard work, Nick has finished
his surgical residency.

those years ago.
... and here we are today. We look exactly the same ... right?! OK ... so maybe I shouldn't have dug that old photo out. A lot has happened in those 8 years. We have had ups and downs and upside downs but we have made it through stronger and more in love than ever. Congratulations Nick! Two more years of fellowship and then you are done with school ... after 13 years of grade school, 3 years of college, 4 years of med school, 8 years of residency and 2 years of fellowship ... you will have been in school for a total of 30 years exactly. Wow. Pretty impressive.
