Halloween Fun

We have been having a lot of Halloween fun around here!

Evelyn has two bottom teeth.  I was waiting for her top two teeth to come in and instead of the middle teeth coming in first ... she started growing FANGS for Halloween!  Our little vampire!

Maddie and I had a date night the week before Halloween.  Her school had a carnival called The Big Boo.  We had our sitter watch Evelyn and Maddie and I went off to have some fun!  She was dressed as a fairy princess.  Isn't she beautiful?!

They had a photo booth so we took some silly photos together

On Sunday, our farmers market had a Halloween theme on their last week of the season.  The girls got all dressed up and went trick or treating at the different booths (they gave out apples ... go figure).

To go with her teeth, we decided Evelyn would make a great monster.  She decided that she also needed a magic wand.

After a lot of tries, we eventually got some really cute shots of the girls in their costumes (thank goodness for digital cameras, huh?!).

At the market, they had a lot of fun crafts for the kids, too.  Maddie made a potato monster, a pipe cleaner spider and played a bunch of fun games (pumpkin bowling was her favorite).

The night before Halloween we carved our big pumpkin.  Evelyn was not sure about the inside of a pumpkin.

It was finally Halloween!  Maddie went to school in her pink skeleton shirt (it glows in the dark!) for some fun with her friends and Evelyn got dressed up in her Halloween onesie.  (She is holding a barbie in her hand ... she is now into dollies.  There is one baby doll that she just loves.  She sits and gives it kisses and hugs it.    She loves walking it around in the little stroller too.  She calls it "bay-buh." Another girlie girl I think!)

That night, Daddy came home early and we all got dressed up (fairy princess, Thing 1, monster, a pumpkin) and went trick-or-treating in our new neighborhood.

Maddie was shy at first but eventually was super excited to go up to doors and say "Trick Or Treat!!"  Our neighborhood had plenty of kids around and lots of good candy.  A couple houses passed out full sized candy bars!  Wow!  Happy Halloween everyone!!
