We decided that swim lessons would be fun for both girls. Evelyn and I go swimming on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. She LOVES the water. She spends a lot of her time simply drinking it. She pretends to pick it up and eat it like she would Cheereos (dips fingers in and puts them in her mouth). It is super odd but she finds it HYSTERICAL.
Here is Maddie in the same swim suit ... looking very similar from June 2009 (Evelyn is 16 months and Maddie was 14 months).

Later that afternoon we took Maddie for her first swim lessons. Evelyn did ok watching Maddie swim and not getting to swim herself. We will see if this trend continues.
Maddie just loved her swim class. The teacher poured water over her head, they alligator crawled (walk on just your arms letting your legs float behind you), and splashed a lot. She did great and didn't seem too nervous. Yeah Maddie!

Here she is trying it by herself. Her ears are definitely out of the water ... but this is a big deal and we are SUPER proud of her! Keep it up Maddie!
