Daddy was on call so the girls and I decided to go up to Seattle for the weekend and visit my friend Michelle that I studied abroad with in Spain a million years ago. She has two little girls - Zoey born in April 2009 and Maya born in October 2013.
I was SUPER excited to pump my own gas again! Haven't done that in a year! It was as wonderful as I remembered.
We took the girls to an amusement park made just for little kids (Maddie was too tall for one of the rides!). They had so much fun!
We rode the train (they were about the toot the whistle).
Maddie rode her first roller coaster (zoom in on the picture so you can see her face - she LOVED it!)
Evelyn rode a horse for the first time and she was not all that enthused - please see face. Her horse was names Blueberry.
Maddie LOVED riding her horse - Thyme.
That night, Maddie and Zoey had a sleep over in our room. After a lot of talking and giggling, they eventually passed out. So much fun!
The next day we went to a park where we could see the space needle. It was really beautiful there.
Then we found the troll under the bridge.
We went out to lunch before we went back home. All the girls LOVED Maya. She got so many kisses.
We got home and went straight to a birthday party with Daddy (friends from work). The kids had fun playing with the chief of pediatric surgery in the tent. Dr. Azarow had about as much fun as the kids I think! :)
