The End of May

Well we are getting right to the end of May and we are just chugging along. The girls LOVE playing together and are always up to lots of silly games. Evelyn wants to do whatever Maddy is doing. She is just crazy about her big sister. Maddy is SO good and really makes Evelyn feel good about little things she does. So sweet. Here they are dressed up as Anna and Elsa.

So Nick found a recipe for making ice cream that sounded WAY too easy to be true. You just need a pint of cream and a can of condensed milk and that is it! We each had our own bowl to flavor and I figured, if nothing else, the consistency would not be that good ...

IT WAS SO GOOD!! We each made our own. I had what I call the diabetic nightmare (it was SUPER sweet - even for me!) - birthday cake oreo cookies and dulce de leche. Nick made the healthy ice cream of frozen cherries and ovaltine - it was really good too. The girls each took a bunch of sweet treats and threw them in their ice cream and added food coloring. We will make it again but with half the condensed milk to make the base less sweet.

Waiting to pick Bobbie (Maddy) up from school

Maddy has a style all her own! On the days it takes her longer to get ready for school I know an impressive outfit will be coming down the stairs. Gotta be you!
