Easter

Maddie had a wonderful Easter at Grandma Hamilton's house in Cuba. She woke up and put on a beautiful dress Aunt Summer gave her and posed for some photos. The first one is one of my favorite photos of Maddie. She looks beautiful ... and so grown up. Where did our baby go?

We got to Cuba and Maddie opened her Easter gift from Aunt Debbie and Uncle Tim. She got stickers and eggs and jewelry and a purse! What a lucky girl!


Before lunch, Maddie changed into play clothes and asked for another Easter egg hunt ... and another ... and another. She was a little disappointed to find that the eggs did not have any more candy in them. She would shake each one and throw it down if it did not make a sound. If it did, it was opened on the spot and gobbled down.

Later that afternoon, she sat out on the porch with her great grandma and talked about all the things the Easter bunny had left her.
