The Weekend and a Wednesday

On Friday, we went out for dinner and ice cream. After we ate our ice cream we played a little chess. Maddie made up her own rules. Rule #1: everything must match according to color. That was really the only rule. Matching is a big thing right now.


On Saturday, we took Maddie to her first movie. We thought we would try it out and see how she did. We went to see Gnomio and Juliet. It was cute. We got through about half of it (a little over an hour at the movies) and Maddie wanted to go home and take a nap. She was still getting over her fever, so I think she just wasn't 100%. We will try again in a few weeks and see if she likes it. She wants to see Rango, so maybe we will go when it comes out.

Maddie got a box in the mail from PopPop and Suze. It had a bunch of fun stuff in it and some celebrity sun glasses. Maddie loves them.

On Wednesday, Nick and I picked Maddie up at school with Mag in the car. We went to the park to enjoy what seems like the beginnings of spring. We had a lot of fun running around together. Maddie loves running now.

That night, Maddie and Magnus had a little love-fest.
