Our First Few Days

We are all settling in to our new life in Portland.  Mommy is learning her way around the city and the girls are loving all the new places we are going.  We try and do something new each day.  Evelyn is getting into a nap routine so we kind of have our days in a rhythm around here.  The girls are both very happy and so cute.

 

Maddie is a great helper to mommy and loves being a big sister. 

Evelyn is now standing in her crib.  That is great.  You can tell by the sound monitor on the left that she is also still crying herself to sleep.  :(

I was in the garage going through some of the boxes and Maddie came in with her wand and said, "Mommy, I'm going to wave my magic wand and all the boxes will be done ... Bibbity Bobbity Boo!"  I really, really, REALLY wanted it to come true.  Oh well.  We can keep trying ... or just continue unpacking. 

Evelyn loves to take the door stops off the walls and play with cords.  Hooray.  That means that she has now learned the words "no no" and she doesn't like it.  Her reaction makes me laugh.  It is just so dramatic.

 

We went to the park on Wednesday night for music in the park and it was almost chilly!  We had a picnic dinner and had a lot of fun.

We found a tie dye VW wagon.  This place cracks me up.
