It is our first Christmas in Portland. A lot will be the same and a lot will be different. I doubt we will have a front yard full of snow, but pulling out the old ornaments is so much fun. Daddy helped Maddie put her hot pink sparkly star on the very top.
Then wearing her blingy Santa hat, Maddie began decorating the tree. Look at that cute ornament of Maddie from her first year in preschool. You can also see Fredbird facing the wrong way. It was fun getting our StL ornaments out.
Evelyn got into the Christmas spirit with her Christmas tree headband. She LOVED wearing it!

Maddie got her own tree in her room this year. She decorated it with all kinds of princess ornaments and special ornaments that people bought for her. She loved having it in her room.
We tried to take Christmas pictures. I got some cute ones of them individually ...
But then I tried to get pictures of them together and well ... it didn't work so well. Evelyn mostly wanted my camera.
Pantala found us all the way up here in Portland! He was up to his old tricks again.
He left some more magic seeds again this year and the cold dirt to plant them in.
Maddie went to school and when she came back some beautiful flowers had grown in the soil!
Pantala also left his own advent calendar ...
He wrapped 10 of her Christmas books from the garage. She got to open one each day to read each night.
I love Christmas time!
