Our Girlies

With her tubes in, Evelyn has started talking a little more. Most of these are animal sounds but I wanted to capture them before she really started talking. So sweet. Also ... I think it is interesting that there is one word she just can't say.

Maddie loves to make Evelyn laugh. She is the best at it. Evelyn thinks she is so funny. One day we were waiting for something and this started. They were laughing for 5 minutes before I started this video. :)

Walking to get Maddie from school in one of Maddie's old dresses.

Bow model.

Working hard

Goof ball

Goof ball ... but at least she has a reason for wearing them. :)

Spaghetti everywhere.

Just a girl and her kiwi

We decided to have our afterschool snack at the park one beautiful afternoon.

I cleaned out Nick's car for him while he was away. I found a billion scrubs, shirts, shorts etc ... but I was a little concerned about the mask and scary hands. Kind of worrying, right?!

Ice cream ... yum!

One afternoon, we all took a nap but Maddie. Maddie decided to treat us to lunch. While we napped, she made us sandwiches. This is a peanut butter- butter sandwich. Those are huge chunks of butter in there. Yum?

Portland baby.

You need to have one more bite of dinner before you can have ice cream ...

After a big battle, we made it to the ice cream.

While Maddie swims, Evelyn and I have been playing in the front area of the community center. There is a train table there and Evelyn just LOVES the trains!

Popsicles in the bath? Why not?

Some kind of food beard

Instead of playing with the chalk, both girls wanted to sweep the driveway. Ok. Works for me!

Evelyn wants to do everything Maddie does. Maddie rolled down a hill. Evelyn wanted to roll down a hill. She just couldn't work out how to get it started.

Nana sent Evelyn a new dress up set. Maddie was very excited to show her how it worked.

Elton Evelyn ... Maybe Evelyn John works better.

Maddie and I planned a popcorn and movie girls night. She came home from school with this super sweet note. I love it!

This is Evelyn and a squirrel at the park. She is a little too close for my taste.

Please go get dressed Maddie. Ok ... hmmm ....

Because ... why not?
