Zoo Camp and More Fun

Maddie has been waiting for zoo camp all summer! It was finally here! She was so excited!

While Maddie was at camp, Evelyn and I had the whole day to ourselves again. We played lots of trains.

I think it was a great first day! She is in Tiger Camp this year.

The next day, Evelyn and I went to a play time at the library. She had lots of fun with the other kids!

We found Maddie's old flip flops. Evelyn LOVED them!

I had the carpets cleaned so I put a gate up to keep Mag off the carpet. It did not stop Evelyn though.

The next day, Evelyn and I went to the zoo with friends. Guess who we ran into at the zoo!

Then it was Mommy's birthday! We went for a walk along the river - doesn't get much prettier than this!

Then we went for another walk through the neighborhood with the babies.

Then we had ice cream cake before Mommy and Daddy went out for a surprise dinner! Nick was supposed to be on call but he surprised me by having the other fellow cover his Friday shift. What a wonderful gift! We began with ice cream cake ....

Then had the most delicious dinner!
