It has been a wonderful summer full of so much fun! All good things must end, however. Here are some end of summer adventures.
Princess Pizza Chef
Maddie wanted to have a tea party ... so we did! Cookies and apple juice ... with pinkies out of course!
This is Evelyn. She has just told me to leave her at the store. She wants to stay in the car. (as an FYI - I did not leave her ... in case you were wondering)
We hadn't been to Art ala Carte yet this year so we went on Tuesday for some fun! Here are the girls this time last year ...
... and here they are now! Look how much they have both grown!!

We were over close to Daddy's hospital so we thought we would bring him some art work to brighten up his office a little bit. :)
On Maddie's last day of Tae Kwon Do (she has decided to take a little bit of a break) she earned her second patch. We are so proud of her! When I told her teacher she was thinking of stopping she said that Maddie has been doing such a great job learning faster than most kids. Proud mommy.
On the last Friday of the summer, we decided it was time to go to Wilson Pool (first trip of the year somehow!). Evelyn got right to work ... kind of.
They both has so much fun! Evelyn loved the slides and insisted on going down the big slide with me about a million times! She is a thrill seeker. Maddie did great using her swimming skills. It was a great way to bring the summer to a close.
The girls hung out having a little snack time. It was a little cold when we got out (the pool is heated ... that's right ... they heat pools in the summer time here in Portland ... what a crazy place!).

Back to school shopping! Woo hoo! Please note the color scheme has not changed yet.
Daddy had Labor Day weekend off. It was time to do the great Portland fun activity - turn your cans in for money!
Bye bye summer! See you next year!! What a wonderful wonderful summer!!
