During Nana's trips to Portland, the weather has always been kind of crummy so we have never taken her to the beach. Sunday was supposed to be cold but sunny so we thought we would head to Cannon Beach for a little time at the Pacific. We went and had pizza and coffee first, of course. I tried to get a cute photo of Maddy and Nana ...
... GOT IT! I love this photo. Two sillies together.
Then, of course, it was time for the beach! The sun felt nice but the water was COLD!!! The girls had a wonderful time as always.
Maddy flew her kite (the wind wasn't great that day but she still did a great job!)
Then they ended up in the cold cold water, of course. Brrrrrr!
We brought Magnus for the first time and he did a great job! We were very proud of our boy. He ran on the sand and chased other dogs and rested with his nana in the sun when he was worn out.
Evelyn did not rest.
Magnus even got in the water!
Almost made it all the way in but caught herself luckily ... yes ... as her deadbeat mother took a photo instead of helping her. Ugh.

Nana took a wonderful photo of us for our Christmas card!!
I wanted a Christmas card photo of the girls together and just couldn't get one of them both looking.
The photo shoot was over once Evelyn started pulling Maddy's hair.
Nana enjoyed the sea air and the sun. We had a great time at the beach! Come back when it is warmer Nana! The beach is much nicer then! :)
