Nana came to visit for Halloween! We were all super excited! The girls just hung out together after school. :)
Maddy had three days off school to spend with Nana. Evelyn and I went to school though. Evelyn dressed up as Anna for a costume parade through the school. She was SOOO excited!
It was time to carve the pumpkin. Usually kids LOVE this activity. Evelyn is not a usually kid. Maddy has never liked the inside of a pumpkin (like her daddy) but oh my ... Evelyn DOES NOT like the inside of pumpkins. Watch as she deteriorates right before our eyes.
That night we went trick-or-treating. Maddy was Elsa, Evelyn was Anna and Nana was a spider in a spider web! She and Maddy designed and made her costume at home while Evelyn and I were at school. Pretty amazing costume!!!
Evelyn decided it was the greatest
invention EVER! You go to people's doors, say trick-or-treat and they
give you candy. Amazing. Someone gave her a lollipop ("aya-pop") and she
thought she was in heaven. She would take it out and show each new
house that she had an aya-pop.
The second she walked in the door, she
went to the table, opened her aya-pop and dug right in.
Happy girl!
Maddy did VERY well herself, even scoring some full sized candies!
Well - they got done and looked great.
