Hook 'Em ... Tigers?

Maddie had a very confusing weekend. We drove down to Columbia, MO to watch Daddy's Mizzou Tigers take on Momma's Texas Longhorns!! Daddy made her an outfit! He bought a Mizzou patch and ironed it onto a Texas sweatshirt. She was split in two ... and looked so cute!

The drive down was ok. Maddie wanted to drive and was kind of mad that Daddy insisted on driving. She gave him a few things to help him be a better driver ... a bink and Mr. Flat Lamb.
Eventually Maddie fell asleep ... but only for a few minutes. Then she was up and ready to go!

We arrived at Great Grandma and Grandpa Henley's house in Jefferson City and found a gift from Aunt Summer. She had made Maddie a too-too (said "toe-toe") that was half black and gold and half orange and white, a headband, and wings with Texas on one side and Mizzou on the other. Too cute!!!

Next we went to take a family photo. Our poor baby did not know who to cheer for, so she just looked cute instead!

Maddie's cousin Addison came over the stay the night and play. Maddie just LOVED having a friend!

Maddie got a little more play time in with her Daddy ....
... and Momma made sure she was well fed
Then we said goodbye to our little Longtiger and headed to the game. Maddie had a great time with her Great Grandpa (blurry picture, but it is just too cute ... she is trying to feed him!)

Maddie and Addison had a lot of fun in Great Grandpa's chair.
They played with the blocks for a long time. Addison made a big square of blocks and Maddie plopped herself down right in the middle.
The game was fun for a little while ... and then just kind of was sad. I wore my burnt orange and sang and cheered, but it became softer as the game wore on. I will not report the score.
Nick was not very happy.

The next morning we woke up and Maddie read her Great Grandma a book.

Then she read it to Daddy (she just LOVES books). Then began the towel game. It was just too funny!!! Maddie would hide under the towel and think we could not see her. She just kept cracking up like crazy! So did we!

Then Daddy popped up under the towel with her and she about died! She laughed SO hard!
(this photo just cracks me up! Look at her face!)

Then she beat up Daaddy.

We had to say goodbye to everyone, but we will see them on Friday for Halloween! The drive home was nice. Maddie slept most of the way. We went straight to Daddy's softball playoffs. Maddie and I played in the leaves. We just LOVE Fall!

(She kept trying to feed me leaves ... look at that bad face!)

I started throwing leaves on Maddie.

So she decided to throw leaves on Daddy!
Watch out Daddy ...

It is funny throwing leaves on Daddy!

Now some leaves on Momma's head ...

... and then maybe I will chomp on her head too!

Now, leaves on Maddie ... I just LOVE this photo. Ahhh ... Fall.

Here is a video of Maddie enjoying Fall!

(some of the photos on this post were emailed from Carolyn and are not clear on your end. If anyone wants some of them, I can just email them to you)
