Our Little Ninja

So, I wish I had video of this ... or at least had seen the whole thing.

We have been trying to pick a Halloween costume out for Maddie. We keep going back and forth. I think she is going to have to be a ninja. I was making dinner (Nick was on call) so I put Maddie in the back room. She was not pleased with this. Instead of crying, she did something about it. All of a sudden, I looked over, and she was standing in the doorway of the kitchen. She laughed, ran over to the pantry, got a chip and walked away. Seriously. How on Earth did she get there??? Well, I put her back and watched around the corner. She army crawled UNDER the gate ... there is only about a 3-4 inch gap between the floor and the gate. She had to have squeezed herself under. How she did it without a sound and without moving the gate at all is beyond me! Wow. Now what do we do with her?
