Balloon Race

Every year, Saint Louis has a hot air balloon race and I have always wanted to go. This year, I forced my family to go. I had way more fun than anyone else (and took WAY too many photos). I thought I would post some of the photos (both of Maddie and Nick and of the balloons). Please note that this is the edited down version. I literally took a million photos. The good and bad side of digital photos, I guess.

It was a little hot so Maddie and Mag sat quietly.

They started blowing up the balloons about 30 min after we got there. It started with the pink bunny!
Again ... this was a lot of fun for me. Daddy, Maddie and Mag were mostly hot.
The bunny is ready.
Maddie finally started checking out what was going on.


Then she found something way cooler than balloons ... her own pony!





The balloons started to go up ... it was really cool!
Maddie did not think so ... she had a cool cup to play with, I guess.

Maddie played with Magnus ... way more exciting than the balloons.

Finally ... the photo I wanted! Why is there a beer bottle balloon in the background, though?!


On our walk home we found a balloon that had landed near our car. Pretty cool!
