Beautiful Day at the Zoo

One thing we will miss about Saint Louis is the beautiful weather in the Spring and Fall. We decided to spend one of those beautiful Fall mornings at the zoo. Saint Louis really does have one of the most amazing zoos I have ever been to.

Our first photo comes from "Parenting 101" - a new book I will be writing. When your child can't see a dangerous animal at the zoo, simply pick up the stroller and dangle it over the edge.
Maddie is becoming such a big girl. Doesn't she look like a big girl!??!

Maddie loved the bird house. You can get so close to the birds. It is absolutely amazing!


Our last stop is always the penguin and puffin house. They are always a lot of fun.
This is not a video of Maddie but the puffins were being so cute that I could not resist taking a video.

Chapter 2 in "Parenting 101:" Do not leave the zoo at nap time. You will have a battle on your hands.


We had a great time at the zoo. It is a great way to spend a Saturday morning.
