This morning when I dropped Maddie off at school, her teacher told me a funny little story about our little one.
Each day, the teachers call the kids to lunch. Every day, Maddie sits in the same seat. The other children sit in different places, but not Maddie. Same spot each time. The funny thing is, though, that her teachers noticed that none of the other kids sit in Maddie's spot. They choose any chair but hers. They tested their theory the other day. They called all of the other kids to the table first and then called Maddie. They wanted to see if it was just that Maddie was getting to her spot before anyone else. Nope. The kids left that spot open for Maddie because they know it is Maddie's spot. Wow.
Daycare today ... next, the world!
