This photo is actually from Christmas. Maddie refused to go down for a nap one day at Tom and Susan's house. She eventually got quiet and this is what we found ...

We can't really get out very much (it has been just too cold!) but Maddie has still had fun riding around the house on her scooter.
Maddie and Man Man stay warm cuddling ... a lot!
This is basically the view from our house for the last month or so. We seem to get it shoveled and then we get more snow ... I can't wait until Spring! Here is a little girlie montage of our Maddie. We begin with about 6 inches of lipstick, move on to our favorite color and end with her vast knowledge of princesses ... enjoy!
Here is just the silliest photo from Nana's visit ... Little Man just can't get enough love!

Finging fun outside is not that easy in the winter. Here is a little video of us on a "warm" day. It was in the upper 30s/low 40s and so Maddie and I went and enjoyed the day!
Maddie has been a book worm since she was very little (remember this photo?).
Now that she is in a big girl bed, she often gets out of bed to read (and sometimes just reads in bed). For the last couple weeks, we have been finding her like this:
(the yellow thing is a book that reads stories to you ... Maddie loves it!)
Daddy went to California this week. When Maddie and I got home, she packed her bag. I asked her where she was going and she said "Cah-fonha." Very cute.
Maddie and I have been stuck inside with this winter storm (which ... we know how lucky we got! We only got a little ice and an inch of snow!). When you are stuck inside what else can you do but bake?! We made pumpkin bread ... mmmm ... it was good!
It was because she knew that we had stocked up on bread, eggs, milk ... and babies and Barbies. (one note - I sent this photo to Nick and his response was "Where are the rest of them?" - these are just the upstairs babies!)
Maddie loves puzzles now. A few months ago, Nana and Teddy came in town with a huge bag of presents for Maddie. I grabbed them and threw them in my closet, reserving them for a rainy day. Well ... we found a perfect snowy day for them. She is getting pretty good at puzzles ...
Maddie has been wearing my snow boots.

I had some music going while I was cleaning on one of our MANY snow days (although I realize the background of this video might make one think I NEVER clean this house!) and I found Maddie doing this. It was just so sweet.
