First Day of First Grade

Maddie started her first day of first grade! We can't believe how big she is and how grown up she looks. I can't believe she is going into my grade! She is a first grader!

 

 

 

 

Off to school we go! Please note the fleece ... yeah ... it was chilly this morning!    

The walk up the hill to school in the beautiful morning sun.

We found her classroom and her seat. She has some friends from her class last year and she is happy as can be. I asked if she wanted me to stay a little longer and she said no of course. She was ready to start her day. I love how independent she is! Good luck in first grade Maddie! Learn lots and have so much fun!!!

Evelyn and I missed Maddie all day but managed to have a little fun ... yeah ... never a dull moment.
