Big Snow

We have had some VERY cold weather here in St. Louis. It hit 0 a few days in a row. Our highs were close to 12, but with the wind chill factor it felt like -12. Seriously.

Because it was so cold, though, we got some BEAUTIFUL powder snow. We bundled Maddie up and went out to play. We could only stay out for a few minutes, though, because it was so cold. Maddie put on her new snow boots and had some fun!

We came back in and took off our snow gear. It was not the cutest outfit, but it was a good under layer. Maddie then went and chose some shoes and here is what she looked like in the end:

Maddie has started to pick her shoes every morning for school. Some days she makes a choice that works and some days, not so much. She loves wearing her flower girl shoes. It really cracks me up.
