A Few New Things

Maddie is such a lucky little girl. Just when her new toys start to get ... well, old would be the wrong word ... less new? ... someone sends or brings her something even newer! Maddie and I often get home from school and find a big box with her name on it, waiting for us.

The other day we found a big box ... and this is what was in it! That is right ... a princess house with an escape tunnel. Maddie LOVES it!
... as you and see. The first day she got it, I suggested a tea party in it (yes, I can fit in it!) and she went and got every plate, cup, fork, spoon and food that she has.
Another big box showed up and it had a table and chairs in it for her tea parties. Maddie loves to sit at her table and have little dinner parties.

Maddie then had a few visitors. Because of the bad weather at Christmas, we did not get to see Maddie's Great Grandma and Grandpa B. They were in town and brought over her presents. What fun! Maddie got a BEAUTIFUL new tea set.

... and a Princess Dress Up Set. Do you think she likes it?

... yes, it has a scepter.
... and shoes!

Then Maddie invited them over for tea. She showed off her new kitchen.
Grandma was very impressed.
Then they sat down and read some books.

... and ate invisible food and read some more.Later that night, Maddie decided she was a rapper rather than a princess.
