Big Girl!!

I do have photos I need to post, but I need to sit and upload. I will try and do that later this week.

I did, however, want to post our new big girl Maddie news ... she uses the potty all by herself now!! We started official training on Saturday. We had a few accidents here and there, but she was pretty good about going on the potty. On Sunday, she did really well - we even went to the supermarket (in a diaper of course) and when we got home, she was dry and then went and sat on the potty! Woo hoo!

On Monday (at school), she had to wear these terrible plastic undies over her regular undies. She was allowed 2 accidents before they moved her back to diapers. She had two exactly. :) When I came to pick her up on Tuesday, I was excited to see she was wearing the same clothes I sent her to school in! She did not have any accidents all day (7:45 - 4:45). On Wednesday, same thing! Her teachers said that she actually would just take herself to the potty without even asking (it is in the classroom, but still). She is even waking up in the morning dry and then going potty (she is still wearing diapers at night). She no longer has to wear those plastic pants anymore (which is good since they were making her so sweaty!) and we are out of diapers (pretty much).

I am very proud of our baby. I asked at school if this was going to stick or if she would revert back to diapers and they said this is it. It feels a little too easy, but I guess she was just ready. She has a bunch of really cute undies now (Dora and Minnie Mouse are her favorites ... and anything pink!).

Big changes just keep happening. She is growing up so fast!
