I often pick Maddie up from school during outside play time. I really love watching her play for a few minutes, and she loves to show off all her big girl skills.
I love the suspicious eyes ... "don't even think of taking this ball."
Maddie has started taking bubble baths and just loves them. Here she is posing (yes, she wanted to take photos showing off the bubbles).

We have experienced our first "my friend has one and I want one" moment (first of many, I am sure). We got into the car after school one day and Maddie said, "Cora backpack. My backpack ... my PINK backpack." Cora had gotten a new backpack and Maddie thought it was pretty awesome. We searched and searched and could only find one backpack with wheels that was her size. She was pretty happy (look at that face!) and has not gone anywhere without it.
Here we are on the way to school the next day. Doesn't she look cute with her new backpack?!
