Another Snow Day

So this is the third snow day in 3 weeks. This is what I get for not getting snow boots for Maddie this Christmas (she has lots of boots, though).

I got the call at 10:30 last night (we don't usually get called until the morning of ... but this was a pretty good sized storm). I woke up to help Nick dig my car out (his little sporty number ... although a German car ... is not exactly up for this kind of weather).

I was actually a little mad at school for closing again (we only have 6 snow days built into the year - it used to be 2 - and so this means I will have to teach until June 6th if we use them all up!) thinking it was just a little snow ... then I saw this and understood the reason for ALL St. Louis schools being closed ...

That would be 8 inches of snow ...
Today should be trash day ... thank goodness for the Monday holiday putting us back one day!
