Dallas

We headed back to Dallas on the night of the 5th. Maddie did a great job again. She is a born traveler, I think. We spent a couple days in Dallas with Grandpa Tom and Susan. Maddie met her Aunt Summer for the first time. Nick said that Summer made Maddie look big. See for yourself!


We barbecued, walked around the park, watched the Bachelorette (can you believe she chose Jessie!!!), and had a nice time relaxing. Nick, Summer, Maddie and I went shopping. Nick looked so cute as a daddy!



Summer, Tom and a very sick Susan babysat Maddie while Nick and I went on another date. We had a wonderful meal at one of last year's Top Chef finalist's restaurants. It was delicious! Summer and Maddie read her new Leap Frog book. They had a great night together.


We had a great tim in Texas. The good Texas air caused Maddie to have a big growth spurt ... seriously! Our 10 hour drive home went perfectly. Maddie slept the whole way with a lunch break in the middle. Nick and I could not believe it! We passed by a very exciting place on our way home!


I am sure we will be back to Texas soon so that we can see everyone again soon. Remember, St. Louis is not that far and we have an extra room. Come up and visit any time you want!
