We saw a HUGE hawk sitting on the rooftop of a house by the park. Apparently, it has moved in to the area and is picking off the very brave (and not so smart) squirrels that live there. They sit in the wide open fields and don't have a care in the world. I have a feeling that the squirrels that Magnus loves to chase will stop "playing canasta" in the park and start hiding in trees again.
(Sorry the picture quality is so low ... I took the photos from my iPhone from pretty far away ... he was so big it was scary!)
