The Trip Home

Maddie settled in on the flight from New Zealand to LA. She ate her dinner, changed into her nightie and made a little bed on the floor.
After a little sleep, Maddie watched a movie (for about 10 seconds ... just enough time for this photo, really).
Then we made it to LA with tons of time to catch our flight. For SEVERAL reason (I will not go into it ... ugh) we made it to our gate just as they were boarding the flight to StL. Maddie lasted 5 minutes and then did this for all 5 hours of the flight ... seriously!


The next morning, Maddie and I went on a long walk in our neighborhood in the hopes that the sun would help our internal clocks reset (coming back is always harder than going for some reason).
We had a wonderful trip in New Zealand and had so much fun seeing everyone. We hope to get back soon.
