I have been trying to post our NYC trip for a while now. I struggled because there were so many pictures and videos! I have decided just to post by day to make it a little simpler ... and actually get it posted!
I will not tell you about our flight to NYC. I will only say that we were at the airport at 9:00AM and left at 3:35PM. Maddie is a great travel buddy. She set herself up with a new coloring book and worked hard most of the way there. She is the best.
We finally made it to NYC and Maddie and Alec were so excited to see each other!
We had dinner and then it was bath time. Maddie was very excited to be the big girl. She wanted to help Amy with everything Alec did. She was always at Amy's side.
Maddie was also very excited to take a bath with new bath toys. She would literally sit and play in the bath for 30 minutes. She loved the new toys.
The next morning, we woke up and played and played with Alec's toys. Here they all are talking on the phone.
More playing. Amy found a toy farm and Maddie was over the moon. She loved the farm house.
The two cousins loved playing hide and seek. The best place to hide was the curtains.
Here are some cute pix of the two of them in their Fourth of July red, white and blue. I love the way Alec gazes at Maddie.
(she is giving him a little kiss ... she is just so in love with him)
Although it was hot, we walked down to the park to see if we could have a little time outside. Maddie and Manish walked hand in hand. It was so cute.
The swings were a little hot ... but we gave it a try anyway.
We came back in and Maddie showed Alec her iPad. He loved making letters and numbers.
Later, we all had a little quiet time. Maddie slept the latest of us all. Alec came in to wake her up.
After quiet time, we went down to the water park. Maddie had a lot of fun playing in the sprinklers.
After Alec went to bed, it was time for a little play time with Manish. He followed all the directions well. He is a good play-mate.
Amy found a bunch of finger puppet animals that go with the farm. Maddie LOVED them (you will see in later posts her puppet show). It was a busy first day.
